I have been playing on Full Contact Poker for around a year. I mainly play NL multi-table tournaments and low stakes NL ring games (0.50 – 1$). I also play on Pokerroom and sometimes on Party Poker.
I like Full Contact Poker because of its promotions and bonuses. They may not have the largest reload bonuses and first deposit bonuses, but they are extremely easy to clear. 1$ in tournament fees gets you 5 points. Also, Full Contact Poker houses a lot of real life pros, who can be found playing the $100 – 200 ring games at around midnight. Lastly, I liked the range of multi table tournaments they offered. This site is great for established players, but I recommend Pokerroom for players that are just starting out.
First off, the players here are a lot better then most other sites. Growing a bankroll here can be quite difficult, so I do not suggest starting off your poker career at this site. Also, they do not offer many Limit and Pot Limit multi-table tournaments. This site is mostly dedicated to No Limit Texas Hold’em. Other poker games such as Stud, Razz, and Omaha are hard to find on this site. Pokerroom, another site I have played on does offer a lot of these.
Full Contact Poker has many tournaments which will land you a spot in large tournaments that are displayed on TV. There are many opportunities and prizes other then cash, such as tickets and sponsorships. Also, this site offers the largest player volume on the higher stakes ring games, much more then any other site that I play on. Though Party Poker also offers high level ring games, I noticed that Full Contact Poker has a lot more tables, which means less waiting for seats.
The ring games are obviously extremely exciting and Full Contact Poker ring games have the most hands per hour compared to other sites I play at. The tournaments are also exciting, however one problem is that the blind structure and duration is a little bit off, compared to other sites.
The software is another skin of Pokerroom, and as for support I have heard of complaints. Some players have reported missing funds, and have had difficulty getting their funds reimbursed. However, the software is downloadable and has a browser version, so it can be played on all operating systems. I would rate it 9/10.
Overall, I think Full Contact Poker is a good place for online players who have a large bankroll and a lot of experience in higher stakes games. If you are just starting out, I recommend Pokerroom, where it will be easier to build up a smaller bankroll. I give it an 8/10.
