The variety of games they offer in both type and number is good for all players. Hollywood poker has not been around for a very long time but with their player incentives and marketing plans they have built up a good player base.

  Hollywood Poker has the largest sign up bonus codes online. They offer five different codes for different level of players. The largest is 500% up to $1000 which requires a lot more rake per dollar then the smallest of 100% up to $50. If you are a small limit player you should stick to the smaller bonus because it will be easier to earn. You are better off earning that then using a reload code to get more Promo bucks.

  The Hollywood network provides a Java Base Client with no download, that allows for macintosh users to play with everyone else. This is great news for Mac users. The OnGame network is by far the most popular place to play if your looking for macintosh compatible poker.

  A draw back to Hollywoodpoker is that they have very little player input at the table. You cant change what you look like because the same pictures are always in the same seat. You cant make your player look happy or sad and you cant even order a drink or food. Those are all little features on other sites that are fun to use and also give information about who you are playing against.

  Over all people should really enjoy playing at Hollywood Poker. Their service is good, the games and action are above average, and the over all feel of the site is comfortable. The $1000 bonus really helps as well.

  The best things HP has going for them are the free rolls and the celebrity poker tournaments (if you get a celebrity at your table). I really like when you are able to knock someone famous out of a tournament. Not only do you get a bounty / bonus, but you can tell all your friends that you sent them walking.

  The software is pretty good when its running properly. One problem is that they have tournaments freeze all the time. Has not happened to me or to everyone at once, just selected sit n go’s get stuck and you will see people in the lobby chat rooms complaining. Of course they want their money back. From what I have heard if you write down your table or tournament number and the hand you were last on. They are able to go through their hand histories and refund your money. If you don’t give them the info you get nothing. I find it hard to believe that they can’t find my hand histories or just see what the last tournament I played in was.

  I have to say though, there are a lot of friendly people on this site. The lobby has a chat feature that is divided up into sections for cash games and each tournament. I like to talk to other people and I talk to the same people every night at the same time of day. Unfortunately there are always people spamming or asking the same stupid questions all the time. There is a Hollywood Poker support <HP Support> that will quickly turn off your chat if you break the rules. Players who want more can use the HollywoodPoker Lounge, which is their forum. There are lots of players viewing this and all of their celebrities post articles in there about their experiences. Michael Woods ( spokes person for HP ) gets new friends to play in tournaments all the time.

  The action of the games are about moderate. HP is not overly crazy but there are plenty of fish. Some idiot always seems to crack my pocket kings. They have reload incentives every month and mail out the bonus codes to players as a marketing promotion for good players.

  Cash outs are good, I have had no problems here. If you are using a neteller account they are instant I am not sure about other methods or how long they take.

  Now because of their network problems I would only give Hollywood Poker a 8 out of 10 for their over all ranking. Anyone would be happy reviewing Hollywood Poker. I don’t know how good they are but they have some really large cash games and people are actually playing. They also have free roll tournaments for the really small players. Basically a little something for everyone.
